How does therapy work? What can I expect from it?

How long does a therapy session last?
A typical individual therapy session lasts between 45 to 50 minutes. Depending on the type of service you are booking duration differes
Is everything I say in therapy confidential?
Yes. What you share in therapy is kept private and confidential, unless there’s a risk of harm to yourself or someone else, or if it’s required by law (for example, in cases of abuse or court orders). Your trust and safety matter deeply, and we’ll always be transparent with you about this.
Does therapy really help?
Yes, therapy can be incredibly helpful-but it’s not a magic fix. It’s a process that unfolds over time. What makes it effective is the combination of a trusting relationship, your willingness to explore and reflect, and the tools we build together along the way.
